Director of Acquisitions and Operations
March 2023 - Present
A conversation with my mentor, who was the first real estate broker I worked under at TOWN Residential back in 2015, led me to my current role at Source First Homes, a privately held company that acquires, operates, and sells 1–4-unit Class B properties in secondary markets across the United States. Having worked in both residential and commercial real estate sales, consulting, corporate real estate finance, and at an early-stage startup, he thought I could play a key role in helping him implement his business plan, recruiting me from Morgan Stanley to join Source First as the Director of Acquisitions and Operations.

Credit Risk Associate - Commercial Real Estate and Wealth Management
May 2021 - March 2023
My tenure as a commercial real estate investment advisor provided me with a greater appreciation for investment due diligence and establishing proper risk management procedures, protecting both the buyer and lender from loss of principal and/or loan default. I then sought to leverage my abilities in project management, investment analysis, and stakeholder engagement to gain a better understanding of how financial institutions make lending decisions, and joined the Enterprise Risk Strategy and Operations team at Morgan Stanley, specializing in wealth management credit risk.
-
Commercial Real Estate Investment Advisor - Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
October 2019 - May 2021
Upon moving back to New York from Washington, DC, I was keen on getting back into real estate and sharpening my quantitative analysis and deal-making prowess, and was hired by the Founder/CEO of Brax Realty, a boutique commercial real estate brokerage, as the first hire in Brax's expansion effort. As an Investment Sales Associate, I conducted due diligence to identify off-market investment opportunities for institutional and high-net-worth investors, created financial models and cash flow analyses to evaluate investment opportunities and negotiate commercial real estate transactions, and established and maintained partnerships with key stakeholders involved in appraising, financing, and executing transactions.

Consulting Analyst - Business and Technology Delivery
October 2017 - October 2019
Seeking to leverage my political science training and previous experiences in the executive branch and in business development at a social enterprise, I moved to Washington, DC after undergrad to become a consultant at Accenture Federal Services.
In my two years as a Business and Technology Delivery Analyst, I received extensive training in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, enabling me to effectively oversee and project management multiple IT initiatives for the Department of Health and Human Services and the Internal Revenue Service. Having quickly developed my project management expertise, I was able to independently develop and implement a new software development reporting framework that reduced the Department of Health's expenditures on critical Healthcare.gov improvements by 30%, and streamlined operational processes for updating the IRS' legacy tax filing software for processing Form 1040s. Within the company, I collaborated with senior project management leads to enforce departmental compliance with contractual obligations, federal regulations, and standard operating procedures for over 500 employees.
In addition to my daily responsibilities, I was elected as one of two Budget Committee Co-leads for the DC Analyst Action Team (DCAAT), an employee resource group that coordinates and provides career development, networking, and community service opportunities for over 2,000 analysts across the Mid-Atlantic region, serving a one-year term from October 2018 to October 2019.
-
Residential Real Estate Agent - Licensed Real Estate Salesperson
May 2015 - April 2017
My fascination with construction and architecture began at an early age, which propelled me to get my real estate license as soon as I turned 18. The following year, I was hired at 19 years old as the youngest of 577 agents at the 6th largest brokerage in Manhattan by sales volume ($437.2 million) and worked under two senior brokers to execute full-cycle marketing and sales strategies for over $30 million of residential real estate.
-
Pro Bono Development Coordinator
May 2016 - April 2017
Immediately after completing my White House internship, I was hired by the Co-founders of Paladin, a legal tech startup that closes the access to justice gap by streamlining the process through which attorneys and law students are assigned pro bono cases, as their first intern. In addition, I was selected as a Penn Wharton Entrepreneurship Fellow and was awarded a fellowship to pursue an internship at a startup.
In my role, I helped the Co-founders identify angel investors, incubators, and venture capital firms to help raise their first $500,000 in seed funding and cultivated relationships with law firms, law schools, and nonprofits in an effort to launch Paladin's pilot program, helping to secure their first educational partnership with New York University Law School.
After my internship formally concluded, I continued working for Paladin for the entirety of my senior year in undergrad, and documented my journey in interviews featured in Knowledge at Wharton Magazine and Wharton's Venture Lab.

Intern - Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs
January 2016 - May 2016
In the spring of 2016, I participated in the Penn in Washington program, having spent the semester interning in the White House Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental affairs while continuing my studies full-time (4 courses) towards my Bachelor's in Political Science.
At the White House, I supported two Program Directors with stakeholder engagement and event logistics for cultural, religious, and community organizations, such as President Obama's My Brother's Keeper initiative. My ancillary duties consisted of researching legislation, managing databases and schedules, and drafting talking points, memos, and speeches for Administration staff, including the President himself.
I concluded my internship at the White House by winning a writing competition against 200+ fellow interns to have a 1-on-1 conversation with First Lady Michelle Obama and introduce her as keynote speaker for our internship finale.

Tutor (Summer 2011), Lead Counselor (Summer 2017), Alumni Council & Associate Board Co-Chair (December 2021 - Present)
Between graduating college and embarking on my full-time career journey, I spent the summer with an organization that I owe much of success to, having been a student in the program between 2007 and 2009. The Oliver Scholars Program is a nonprofit that prepares students from underserved communities for admission to and success in top-tier high schools and colleges, providing nearly 10 years of social and academic support for selected students.
I served as lead counselor for 56 rising ninth graders in Oliver's Summer Immersion Program and co-instructed the New Scholar Seminar (NSS), a foundational life skills course that prepares students for the academic rigor and social challenges associated with starting high school.
Currently, I serve as Co-Chair of the Associate Board and sit on the Alumni Council, leveraging my professional expertise and network to help plan many of the program’s events, fundraisers, and volunteering efforts, and to introduce new community partners and potential donors to the program.
